The Daily Schedule is a general guideline and is subject to flexibility.

*Circle Time consists of welcoming the children, the alphabet, calendar, motion songs, show and tell (for the helper of the day), stories, puppets, sign language, etc…

Cherry Lane Preschool operating days and closures.

 

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm, and 12:30pm-3:30pm.

 

We generally follow the Tumwater School District schedule with a few exceptions. In case of bad weather or emergency conditions, you can listen to these local stations to find out if the Tumwater schools are closed or having a late-start—KGY1240AM, KGY96.9FM, KMAS1030Armor, KMIX96.1FM, and TV stations—KOMO 4, KING 5, or KIRO 7. If the Tumwater schools are having a late start or are closed due to snow, ice or other hazardous conditions, we are also closed.


The first day of school will be around the second week of August, and we will end for the summer in mid to late June (in accordance with the Tumwater School District schedule). We will have a Welcome Picnic in August to help you and your child feel comfortable, and to get to know the other families of Cherry Lane Preschool. 

 

NOTE*The remainder of your August tuition payment will be due in June for returning families.

 

 You may not drop your children off before school starts as I will be spending this time with my family, and to prepare for the school day. Likewise please be prompt in coming to pick your child up at the end of class. Coming to pick your child up before 11:50pm or 3:20pm is fine but please do not come late as your child will be eager to see you, and find it hard to wait after their friends have gone home!! Thank you for your understanding.
